Ron Ryan, B.Comm, MBA, CFA
Ron Ryan, Founder and Principal, has over two decades of experience managing fixed income investments and foreign exchange portfolios, analyzing interest rate risk and developing strategic derivative strategies.
Ron has an undergraduate degree in Commerce, a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
Ron taught finance and investments at the University of Calgary over a period of five years in both the Faculty of Management's graduate and undergraduate degree programs.
Larry Gillis, B.Comm, CA
Larry Gillis, Senior Partner, manages the Asset Liability Management division of Tuff Risk.
Having started his career at a private accounting firm specializing in financial consulting and financial institution audits and as an auditor and later serving as the Chief Operating and Financial Officer of a mid-sized Ontario based credit union, his hands-on banking experience provides valuable insight into the many strategic issues faced by Tuff Risk clients.
Larry has an undergraduate degree in business and economics as well as a Chartered Accountant (CA) designation.
Lorne Johnson, B.Admin, MBA, CFA
Lorne Johnson, Partner, oversees all client foreign exchange and fixed income portfolios.
Lorne has served as Treasurer for some of Canada's largest corporations, focusing almost exclusively on managing risk associated with fixed income investments, foreign exchange and long-term corporate debt. Lorne brings a wealth of experience in designing investment, foreign exchange and forward rate agreement strategies.
Lorne has an undergraduate degree in Administration, a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
